Climate change, becoming carbon neutral, sustainability, rising energy bills and the cost of living crisis are regularly in the headlines at the moment, but what can you and your organisation do locally to help address these global issues?
This workshop is aimed at volunteers and staff of voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Wakefield District. It’s a great first step to help you make a meaningful difference.
Additionally, we’re seeing more and more funders focus on environmental issues, so it’s a good idea to invest a few hours learning more.
This short workshop will introduce you to the principles of developing an Environmental Policy and provide some practical guidance, information and advice to equip you to write your own Environmental Policy and understand how to put it into practice.
The interactive workshop will run on Thursday 18 May from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
