Ran by the consultancy for cultural organisations Achates, this webinar will be exploring how to drive a more inclusive approach to trustee recruitment, a subject that many organisations are engaging with in order to build a governance body that is more representative of their audiences, artists and communities, and better meets the demands of funders.
Joining Achates will be two organisations that have recently undertaken highly successful recruitment campaigns to bring in non-executive leaders from more inclusive backgrounds. Gavin Barlow, Artistic Director and Chief Executive of the Albany, in Deptford, South East London, and Liz Gilmore, Director of Hastings Contemporary will explore how their approaches focused on and recruited individuals from backgrounds specific to their communities.
The session will be first broadcast at 1pm on Tuesday 18 April and available thereafter with full transcription.
