Gather for a three day conference in Barnsley for conversations, creativity and community. Making Change, the Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance National Conference is coming to Barnsley, South Yorkshire and will take place in different buildings across the town centre. Digital tickets will also be available to access the four main panels throughout the conference.
Who is it for?
It is for people who are interested in creativity/ culture, health and wellbeing and working collectively to bring about social change. The audience (250 people in-person, plus digital attendees) is expected to be a mixture of people with lived experience of using creativity and culture to support their own health and wellbeing, freelancers and organisations in arts, culture and heritage, the research community, and leaders from across voluntary and community sector, health and local authorities.
The question the conference wants to ask is: What now? What needs to happen at a personal, organisational, and political level to bring creativity and health together, and to break down the barriers that have separated them?
