Free tickets for Wakefield-based games developers

If you’re a games developer based in Wakefield and you’d like to attend GI: Live Online, you could get your hands on a FREE ticket worth £50!

The Advance programme has partnered with Games Industry Biz to provide Wakefield based developers the opportunity to attend the full three day event at zero cost! Your free ticket will also give you complete access to the GI Live: Online Discord and MeetToMatch meeting system. You can also arrange meetings, view talks, network with attendees, attend roundtables and engage with VIP guests.

GI Live: Online is taking place from 14-16 April 2021.

To apply for your free ticket, simply email Nadia Adofo at Creative England  with ‘GI Live: Online Free Ticket’ as the subject line and the following details:

  • Full Name
  • Contact Number
  • Trading Address
  • Company Name (if applicable)
  • Company Registration Number or for freelancers, your UTR (Unique Tax Reference) Number
  • Website or Social Media Links

Deadline for applications is Friday 26 March. Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Tickets may only be given to registered companies or freelancers based in Wakefield. Only one individual per company may apply for a free ticket.

This opportunity is brought to you by the Advance programme. Advance is a new support programme for creative and cultural practitioners, freelancers and SMEs based in Wakefield and the wider Yorkshire Humber region. The programme is delivered in partnership with Wakefield Council and funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s Cultural Development Fund grant, which is administered by Arts Council England.
