Freelance Opportunities: Heritage Roles at Bradford Council

As part of their new Cultural Strategy for 2021-2031, the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is looking to fill 4 x Heritage Freelance Opportunities, including:

 

Heritage Action Plan Consultant
Consulting with a wide range of stakeholders, the Heritage Action Plan Consultant will identify current activity and links between initiatives while identifying gaps and opportunities for the culture and heritage sector.
Timeline: November 2021 – February 2022
Closing date for applications: 5 pm, Sunday 10th October

 

Artist in Residence
Bradford Council is looking to appoint a socially engaged artist in residence. The chosen artist will be required to create work that animates what the people of Bradford think about the iconic City Hall – a Grade I listed, 19th-century town hall in the heart of the city.
Timeline: 40 days work across several months
Closing date for applications: 5 pm Sunday 31st October

 

Heritage Instigators x 2
Bradford Council is looking to appoint 2 x Heritage Instigators to work with small groups and individuals, helping them develop projects and funding applications to Bradford Council’s small cultural grants programme.
Timeline: 2.5 days per week between Autumn 2021 and Spring/Summer 2022.
Closing date for applicants: 5 pm on Sunday 17th October
