Apply for Launchpad, support for new and emerging artists in Wakefield
Applications are now open for emerging artists, musicians, producers, bands, composers and music professionals in the Wakefield district to access project and recording funding, one-to-one industry advice, and live opportunities.
Launchpad supports artists and projects across a range of genres, with previously supported artists including rappers, art-rock collectives, techno producers, and balkan inspired klezmer ensembles. Previously supported projects include record labels, promoters as well as individuals seeking advice in building music careers in artist management, PR and production.
Alongside direct support, Launchpad is unveiling a new Advice Portal available through their website, to provide general support, guidance and access to resources, including details of regular workshops, panels and conferences.
Closing date: 11pm, Monday 17 May 2021
*Lauchpad is supported by Wakefield Council, Creative Wakefield, Bradford Music Network, Bradford Council, Music:Leeds, Leeds City Council, Craven District Council and Music:SouthYorkshire to support the music sector across Yorkshire.
