NEW Funding Opportunities for the Creative Sector

The Government recently announced £1.5bn of dedicated funding to support recovery of the creative sector and several major new funding streams have been announced. Currently the majority of these funding schemes are designed to support revenue funding for larger-scale cultural organisations but additional funding streams directed at smaller-scale creative business and individual practitioners will be announced soon. We also expect to see further information on capital funding.

It is important to note that for many of these schemes you must choose whether to apply for grant funding or loan financing as you will not be able to apply for both and reading the full guidance and eligibility criteria before applying is crucial

We have updated the Grants & Support Directory in our Members Area with all of the open funding streams and we’ll add more information as this becomes available. If you’re not already a Member of Creative Wakefield you can Sign Up for free.

If you would like our advice or support on preparing a funding application please do get in touch:

Note a number of these grants have very short deadlines so swift action is essential.

Best of Luck!
