RAISE: Arts, Culture and Heritage offers bursaries for fundraisers working in the arts and cultural sector in England to advance their professional development and attend events. See the three options below:

Introduction to Fundraising

Is fundraising a part of your work in the cultural sector? Are you responsible for raising money for your project or organisation?

The Introduction to Fundraising course offers you a practical introduction to the basic principles of fundraising and development. This course is currently available online, on-demand and in-person. These include:

  • How to develop a compelling case for support
  • Understanding the wider non-profit environment and fundraising’s vital place within it
  • Understanding the fundraising and development planning process
  • How to identify income sources
  • How to create strong supporter communications
  • How to ensure that your fundraising is legal and ethical
  • Finding out where to get more information and your next steps as a fundraiser
  • RAISE offers a limited number of discounted bursaries to undertake the Introduction to Fundraising course. Our bursary is a contribution of £40 towards the total cost (£75 for online and £90 in person) of the course.

*Bursaries available for arts, culture or heritage sector fundraisers based throughout England (and outside London).

 

Certificate in Fundraising

RAISE offers a limited number of discounted bursaries to undertake the Certificate in Fundraising qualification. The bursary is a contribution of £1,500 towards the total cost of the qualification.

Diploma in Fundraising

RAISE offers a limited number of discounted bursaries to undertake the Diploma in Fundraising qualification. The bursary is a contribution of £1,500 towards the total cost of the qualification.
