Join a YVAN Working Group
Posted in Opportunities
Yorkshire Visual Arts Network are looking for people to join one of their working groups. Could this be you? Maybe you are interested in communications, or finance? Or perhaps you’d be more interested in shaping Equity, Diversity and Wellbeing?
The working Groups currently include artists and arts organisations, CDA researchers, arts administrators, Artist Union members, curators, writers, communications officers, project managers, mentorists and finance officers based across Yorkshire & Humber in Kirklees & Calderdale, Sheffield, Rotherham, Hull & Leeds.
YVAN are committed to ensuring that working groups are representative of the diversity of Yorkshire & Humber and would like to encourage applications from people from the global majority*, those people with lived experience of disability and/or neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ and working class backgrounds.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in finding out more about, then download the Recruitment Pack and get in touch.
*Global Majority is a collective term that first and foremost speaks to and encourages those so-called to think of themselves as belonging to the global majority. It refers to people who are Black, Asian, Brown, dual-heritage, indigenous to the global south, and or have been racialised as ‘ethnic minorities’.
