Launchpad comes to Wakefield Exchange

Posted in Industry

As part of their commitment to support creative industries across West Yorkshire, Wakefield Exchange have teamed up with Launchpad to bring a programme of live music performances from some of the region’s most up-and-coming musicians. This brand-new series of showcase gigs is free to enter, and brings a diverse line up of genre-spanning talent.

The first event took place on 5th September, with Neo 21, Akin Amusan and TJ Tucker bringing their incredible sounds to the stage, and the line-up for the next event on 10th October is looking just as strong: Launchpad X Wakefield Exchange – Showcase Gig – 10th October 2025 – Oliver Pinder, Wedgey & HerOrangeCoat — Launchpad. The final showcase of 2025 will take place on Thurs 18th Dec, with dates for 2026 already pencilled in for 23rd Jan, 22nd Feb and 20th March.

Wakefield Exchange is Wakefield’s new destination for creativity and culture – find out more about the venue here: Welcome to Wakefield Exchange.

Launchpad is a non-profit organisation which provides advice, funding and opportunities for Yorkshire artists and music projects. To find out more about their offer, visit www.launchpad-music.com.
