Research Commission – Creative Health in Wakefield – Evidence of Impact

Posted in

Creative Wakefield is a Cultural Compact led by an Independent Board Chair.

Cultural Compacts are defined by their ambition not for culture alone, but for culture in collaboration with other sectors – business, health, education, working together to deliver a step change in the sustainability and impact of culture in a particular place.

On behalf of Creative Wakefield, Wakefield Council Culture Service seeks to commission a suitable individual, business or organisation to research evidence of the combined impact of activity delivered by Wakefield’s creative sector in improving the quality of people’s lives and their physical and mental health.

This research will be delivered in 2 phases:

  • Phase 1 will focus on key partners who are working at scale in this area.
  • Phase 2 will engage a wider pool of stakeholders with the aim of revealing who is working in this area and building a wider evidence base.

This research will commence in March 2024 and conclude in September 2024.
