
£3.5m State-of-the-Art Live Events Facility to Open in Wakefield

A partnership between Backstage Academy and Wakefield Council has secured European Regional Development Fund to build an Innovation Hub in South Kirkby as part of Production Park. The Hub will support the live events industry as well as a business support programme focused on assisting small and medium enterprises.
XPLOR is a partnership between Backstage Academy and Wakefield Council that will see the creation of a specialist knowledge and innovation centre focusing on research and development for the live events industry and its supply chain.
