The aims of The Weinstock Fund are to support a wide range of charitable causes. The trust is particularly interested in supporting charitable causes in the arts, community groups and projects, cultural and environmental causes, disability groups and charities supporting people with disabilities, educational projects, welfare causes including hardship alleviation, and medical charities encompassing treatment, care and support.

Grants typically range from £2,000 – £5,000 per annum. Multi-year grants up to a maximum of three years are considered.

The trustees meet three to four times a year and will notify applicants of the result of their funding request though it can be several months before a group is informed of a decision. Groups that are requesting funding for a time-dependent project should submit their application at least six months before the start of their project.

Application deadline: Trustees consider batches of applications on a rolling basis.
