Unlimited Launch Artist Database
Posted in Industry
Disabled artists and disabled-led work are often marginalised. By showcasing and supporting the amazing breadth and quality of work by disabled artists, Unlimited want to open doors for artists to work with other organisations, too and the best way to do that is by making data available to others – with the artists permission of course!
Every arts organisation only succeeds because of artists – they are the lifeblood of the cultural sector, and yet too often they are the final point in decision making and not included along the way. Or, they are hidden from sight within the mechanics of how organisations work and only get to come out on display through the art they create.
For this reason, Unlimited have launched a database on their website to put artists’ services at the heart of the organisation, and lend opportunity for promotion within the industry.
