Unlimited are looking for someone to manage their programme for West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA). The role will provide training, access advice and support, as well as a small capital grants scheme for venues.

There’s an increased level of cultural activity across the north with Leeds 2023, Kirklees Year of Music, Culturedale 2024, Wakefield’s Our Year 2024 and Bradford 2025. We want that activity to involve and be accessible to as many disabled people as possible.

This role is part of our CHANGE strand of work which aims to ensure increased accessibility across the cultural sector.

Key facts about the role

Job Title: Place Based Manager: North

Responsible to: Director

Type of Contract: 14-month fixed term contract (until March 2025)

Hours: 3 days a week (24 hours)

Salary: £30,900 per annum, pro rata

Funded by: West Yorkshire Combined Authority

Location: Split between remote working, working from the Unlimited hub base in Wakefield, and working  across venues in West Yorkshire.
