Wakefield Businesses Collaborate to Design Distillery at Tileyard North
Posted in Industry
Creative businesses from across the Wakefield District have been working together to create something for residents, workers and visitors at Tileyard North to enjoy.
The collaborative project, which forms part of Phase 1 Tileyard North, has involved the expert design of a new distillery and bar for Forged Spirits, Wakefield-based producers of fine organic and certified craft gin. Forged Spirits have seen great success and rapid growth over the past couple of years and have commissioned a 300-litre purpose-built still alongside the launch of a dedicated distillery and bar at their new site.
Wakefield-based designers, Architecture 1B, the team behind The Supper Club, Unity Hall renovations and St John’s North restorations, have teamed up with Art House residents Rhubarb Design House to deliver the design for the bar, its look, and its branding.
