Wakefield Council are pleased to share an update on the developing plans for a Year of Culture 2024 across Wakefield district.
Following engagement with partners, stakeholders and communities in spring 2022 we are now able to share a programme framework containing the core themes we have identified, though consultation, which will underpin the programme. We are continuing the conversation of how we can together create a Year of Culture across this summer – watch this space!
