Company Overview


Set up in 2011, SEE Ahead is a social enterprise, run by 3 SFEDI accredited business advisors with a social enterprise specialism, Business Coaching & Mentoring and PTTLS Level 4 qualifications.

Our social aims are to support people and organisations to be sustainable businesses by providing business support, mentoring and training.

Our ethos is to support people to become more commercially minded, whilst retaining their social and/or environmental aims. We empower people to do things for themselves, rather than do it for them; that means that they can continue to flourish without the continued need for help and support.

Our quarterly mentoring programme for senior managers has been running for 10 years as has our successful self-employment programmes for long term unemployed and individuals with barriers to work.

Based in West Yorkshire, we cover the whole of the UK; we deliver virtual sessions via zoom as well as face to face meetings, but predominantly our work is in Yorkshire & the Humber.

We have worked with many creative organisations over the last 10 years and delivered contracts for various local authorities as well as being approved providers for Lloyds Bank Foundation and North Yorkshire County Council’s Stronger Communities programme.

Helen Hoyle worked for a high street bank for 22 years and left her role as a Business Manager in 2004 to become a Business Adviser for Business Link Yorkshire. When this closed down in 2011, Helen and her 2 colleagues set up SEE Ahead to continue providing the business support that the sector so valuably needs.

All 3 of us completed our Business Mentoring qualifications at Barnsley College in 2012.
