What I do…
I’m a published poet, musician and storyteller and love using my creativity to help other people unlock theirs. I facilitate workshops with people of all ages (I’ve worked with people from 0 (tiny babies!) all the way up to 99!), using poetry, drama, music and stories to help others engage with the arts, create connections and find their voices.
Growing up I wanted to become…
I always wanted to be a teacher growing up, and now I get to experience all the best bits of working with people, whilst also being creative.
The thing that surprised me most about my career…
I didn’t realise just how many possibilities there were to use my skills and interests to meet so many different, amazing people and share in their creativity. I feel incredibly grateful to do this work.
The best advice anyone ever game me…
Be kind, work hard and be authentic – don’t try and compare who you are or what you do with others. The world needs you to be you!
