Meet Chloe Ledger
What I do…
I am an Art and Photography teacher at a secondary school, where I teach a wide range of styles, techniques and artists. I love encouraging young people to be creative, build their confidence and discover the many opportunities that Art and Photography can offer.
Growing up, I wanted to become…
Growing up, I wanted to become a Crime Scene Investigator and work in the police force! My path changed at school when my own Textiles teacher inspired me to become a teacher and encouraged me to see how creativity could open exciting opportunities.
The thing that surprised me most about my career…
The thing that has surprised me most is how much resilience and determination my teaching journey has required. Having my daughters at a young age meant I had to work hard to achieve my degree, but it taught me that challenges don’t have to stop you from achieving your dreams.
The best advice anyone ever gave me…
The best advice I have ever been given is, “After every storm, there is a rainbow.” It reminds me to keep going through difficult times and to always look for the positives and opportunities that can come from the challenges we face.
