summer s’cool gives children and young people in Wakefield District the opportunity to be inspired and expand their minds through an exciting range of creative learning experiences.

Our FREE programmes support younger generations to develop new skills – giving local youth the chance to explore possibilities that could inform their future.

Expect music, visual arts, digital design and a whole load of fun!

We want local youth aged 8-18 to join us and get inspired!

You can take part in our programmes in Castleford, Havercroft & Ryhill, Knottingley, Lupset, Pontefract and Wakefield City Centre!

We are also running a range of adult education classes alongside our youth activity. Parents and carers can learn self-defense, arts & crafts and confidence and resilience.
