Emily Ryalls
Photographer
I’m a photographer working predominantly with analogue processes. My work is split between personal projects within my practice, commissions and teaching artist opportunities and managing the community darkroom within The Art House.
Originally from Wakefield, I moved to Nottingham to study on the BA Photography programme at NTU, also studying at ULisboa Belas Artes. After graduating I moved back to Wakefield and began looking for opportunities to kickstart my practice – the most formative being the chance to set up and design The Art House’s community darkroom.
I’m always looking for opportunities to co-produce with the local community and connect with other creatives. As well as projects to develop new work or exhibit as an artist, I also enjoy working with other artists to picture their works and/or create artist portraits.
