Amanda Prosser
Filmmaker
I mainly make scientific films, as I’ve spent most of my working life being a specialised wildlife biologist. But I love to make any kind of documentary content, seeing it through from an idea through fixing, filming, scripting and editing to final delivery.
I’m a PhD qualified chartered biologist, specialising in regulatory wildlife ecotoxicology with mammals, birds and agricultural pesticides. Taking high-quality photos has always been an important part of documenting studies.
Since turning freelance, I’ve spent a lot of time on film sets, and making my own content for a variety of clients.
I just love to make films! Video can grab and hold attention, show what’s happening, and explain things better than any other format. Let’s get together and do it.
I’m a pretty good trombone player – I even teach it sometimes.
