Rebecca Feneley

Illustrator, Muralist & Live Artist (She/Her)

What I do:

I’m an Artist & Illustrator using illustration to explore the connection between female energy and nature. Combining luxurious decorative art with conceptual storytelling, my works aims to encourage appreciation of the magic found in everyday moments.
I work both digitally and traditionally across a variety of disciplines including live art, illustration and murals. I am passionate about teaching, with extensive experience delivering creative workshops and most recently creative mentoring.

What steps I took to get where I am now:

My educational background is in Fine Art & Visual Communication, which involved a mix of illustration, photography and events. Since graduating I have been working part-time freelance as an illustrator, building contacts in the industry and working both locally and internationally with commercial and private illustration in the fashion and beauty industry as well as with local creative organisations.

What creative opportunities I'm looking for:

A bit of everything! I would like to continue my creative teaching across workshops and mentoring, as well as the opportunity to get involved in local exhibitions, creative meet ups and mural projects.

An unexpected thing about me:

I’m a kickboxer!

My proudest moment:

Conquering my travel anxiety to travel abroad for the first time alone back in 2016! I was offered a dream freelance role abroad and I was terrified. It became one of the best experiences of my life, I’ve been grateful I took the chance to go ever since.

My dream creative collaboration:

A vibrant large scale mural in the City Centre!
